Chester Festival Chorus: Concert for CATH
The Chester Festival Chorus is a high standard amateur choir. The Musical Director is Ellie Slorach who is a rising star in the world of music. She has conducted the BBC singers and is working with the BBC Philharmonic and Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra. She is fun, creative and will be giving a short talk about each performance.
The concert will be at St Werburghs church in Chester on 10th July. It is a programme of unaccompanied singing of music from the very old (Thomas Tallis) to music from living composers, one of whom might even be there!
The programme is about an hour long. You don’t have to know anything about music to enjoy it, you can just enjoy the amazing sound of unaccompanied voices singing in harmony.
Tickets are £10 + booking fee. £5 per ticket sold will go towards CATH. Tickets can be purchased through this link: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/music-always-round-me-tickets-367498145847

Sleep Out – 3rd December – 2021
The CATH annual sponsored sleep out took place on the night of Friday 3rd December and the morning of Saturday the 4th
CATH is back in full flow and very grateful for all the wonderful people who took part in the annual Sleep Out in the Friary car park. This year it was CATH’s 27th annual sleep out ahead of next year’s 50th anniversary celebrations. This was our first year back under the stars after a year out due to COVID restrictions.
CATH has a mighty job during winter dealing with the ever-increasing numbers of people in need. We are up to the challenge, and it is thanks to our wonderful supporters that we can keep providing for the homeless of Chester
For further details next year’s sleep out send an email to info@cath.org.uk or call us on 01244 314 834.
Sleep Out – 4th December – 2020
The CATH annual sponsored sleep out took place on the night of Friday 4th December 10pm – 6am.
Thanks to COVID, things were a little different this year and we asked people to get involved and take part from home. People slept out in their own gardens along with friends and family to help the charity raise vital funds.
Thank you all for your support. Rough sleeping numbers are on the increase, and we are more thankful for the support than ever with this year’s event. Support the homeless community to get through the winter.
For further details on next year’s Sleep Out, email us at info@cath.org.uk or call us on 01244 314 834.
